Ayrshire Indian golfer Pranavi Urs is back in action at the USD 2 million ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, which starts at the Dundonald Links here on Thursday, following her recovery from an injury she suffered in May.
Tvesa Malik and the highly effective Diksha Dagar are two other Indians in the field. Hitaashee Bakshi and rookie Avani Prashanth were unable to make the field.

Pranavi has been a frequent participant on the Ladies European Tour, where she finished as the top Indian in 2024. In 2022, she won the Hero Women’s Order of Merit in India after winning five matches in a single season.
She played and made the cut at the Aramco Korea this season after achieving some strong Top-15 results at the Investec SA Women’s Open and the Ford NSW Open in Australia, but she injured her wrist.
She withdrew from the Dutch Ladies Open the following week after the first round because it had gotten so bad. She hasn’t performed since mid-May.On the Order of Merit, she is currently ranked 81st.
After placing second at the Lalla Meryem Cup, Diksha has been enjoying a successful season. She finished in the Top-15 twice and in the Top-10 four more times. On the Money List, she is ranked thirteenth.
In the morning, Pranavi plays with Kim Metraux of Switzerland and Fatima Fernandez Cano of Spain, while in the afternoon, Diksha plays with China’s Miranda Wang and Korea’s Sei Young Kim.
Tvesa will play with Dorthea Forbrigd of Norway and Weiwei Zhang of China.
Dundonald Links is hosting the 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open for the fourth year in a row. This is the ninth time the tournament has been held there since it was co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour.
144 players from 32 different countries will compete in a 72-hole stroke play tournament. The top 65 players will be cut, and there will be ties after 36 holes.
With players from both Tours vying for a piece of the USD 2 million prize fund, the field is divided between the LET and LPGA.
Ayaka Furue, Lauren Coughlin, Ariya Jutanugarn, and Mi Hyang Lee are the four former champions who will be competing.
Three of the top 2025 champions are also in Scotland, including the Australian pair of Minjee Lee and Grace Kim and Maja Stark of Sweden, the winner of the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally.
