In a disturbing video, actress Tanushree Dutta, who sparked the #MeToo movement in India in 2018 by accusing Nana Patekar, says she is being harassed at home on a regular basis.
In a heartfelt Instagram video that went viral very fast, a distraught Dutta said, “I’m tired and tired of this harassment!!” #metoo has been going on since 2018. Tanushree Dutta Calls Police to Report Alleged Persistent Harassment
“I am being harassed in my own home,” Tanushree Dutta said tearfully in a video that showed her obvious distress. I just called the police. They arrived and requested that I come to the police station so that I could properly file a complaint. I’ll most likely go tomorrow or the day after. I’m not feeling well. Over the past four to five years, I have experienced a great deal of harassment. Her emotional appeal draws attention to a protracted period of distress that she says she has experienced.
Tanushree Dutta Describes Persistent Harassment and Health Decline
Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has disclosed more upsetting information regarding the alleged abuse she experiences at home, indicating a serious decline in her health as a result of ongoing stress.
A clearly ill Dutta said in a recent video, “My health has deteriorated. I am unable to work. My house is a complete mess. They put maids in my house, so I can’t even hire maids. I had a terrible maid experience. They came to my house and started stealing things. I have to finish all of my work. I’m having problems at home. I need help, please.
She also posted another video in which she described the years of continuous disruption she has had to deal with. Since 2020, I have also had to deal with loud noises like this and other extremely loud banging noises outside my door and above my roof virtually every day at strange hours! A few years ago, I gave up complaining to the building management because I was sick of it,” she wrote.
Dutta acknowledged that she suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome as a result of her constant stress and anxiety, and she revealed that she uses headphones to listen to Hindu mantras as a coping mechanism. “I was really sick today. I posted yesterday, and now this! She expressed the gravity of her predicament when she said, “Ab samajh jao sab log ki what I’ve been dealing with.” She has pledged to provide more information and intends to file a First Information Report (FIR) shortly.
